Hi
i am new to this site, found it from the link on the great war forum i am at present researching my home town of holywell, flintshire's first world war memorial, and would like to ask the forum if any members have any photo;s relating to the following RWF Battalion's
2nd Batt, 5th Batt, 10th(service) Batt, 13th Batt and the 15th batt, many of the men of holywell seemed to have joined these battalions, group photo's would be great but any would be helpful in my research
thanks once again for your help in this matter
happy xmas to all

I just found a group photo of the officers of 13 RWF, presumably taken before embarkation. is that of any interest to you? If so, I can e-mail it - it's a rather big file so can't attach it to this post.

Thanks for checking back for a late reply, Russ. The photo and legend will be in the (e)mail tonight. Just have to find them on one of my eight external drives...

Hi John,
thanks for that, yes i will try to keep the forum up to date with my research
have traced most of the names on the war memorial now, just lacking pictures to go with the names, hope to place a letter in the local press asking for any relatives of the fallen to contact me
thanks again
Russ
