Which provider?

Hi all,
Now the Guesthouse is getting into Winter mode, things arn't so busy. I'm thinking of subscribing to a Geneology site for a few months to trace family and such. Which is the best for me? Are far as I know, everyone is UK born and have a military history.

My wife is in to this in a big way and uses many sites, but subscribes to http://www.ancestry.co.uk/ there are many levels of subscription. She's told me that if you want any tips, to PM me your email address, or her, username 'Patty'.

I also have a decent level of Ancestry membership. Its an excellent tool. Can I also recommend "Findmypast" for military records. Have a look at the link, you will see what I mean:
