After receiving the following text message off Scouse
"Im in the evening leader and Daily Post tomorrow for carrying a girl from Plas Madoc out of a burning house last night. Picture too...What a clown Im gonna look."
I thought I should share this excellent news with you all, baring in mind if your on Scouse's phonebook list on his mobile you may well have seen the news.

I had to laugh:biglaugh: as after Bri brought the Wrexham Leader home following his night shift I sent Scouse a text saying well done to which he replied "Daily Post is better."
I'll let you decide

TWO brave bobbies risked their lives to rescue a young woman from a blaze at her home.
Sgt Paul Hughes and PC Yvie Johnson rushed into the burning house in Acrefair, Wrexham, in the early hours of yesterday.
A young woman was stuck upstairs, but braving acrid smoke the officers dashed upstairs and carried her to safety.
The two had to be treated for smoke inhalation at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, but were later back on the beat to continue their police duties.

Yesterday Sgt Hughes and PC Johnson, based at Rhosllannerchrugog, were praised by North Wales Police chiefs for their heroic efforts.
Superintendent Neill Anderson said: “They had been very brave and put their own safety at risk to save the occupant of the house.”
Fire crews put out the blaze at the house on Alwen, Plas Madoc, after being called shortly before 1.40am.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service safety officers were concerned the house’s smoke alarm had been disconnected.
Next door neighbour Mark Leather was woken by the commotion, and led his two children Jessica and Jade, and their friend Dion, who was on a sleep-over, to their car outside.
“I woke up and heard all the noise and saw the police carrying the girl out,” he said.
“You could see smoke coming out of the house.
“We sat in the car outside for about an hour and a half before we could go back in - it was freezing.”
The cause of the fire was still under investigation last night.
A male occupant was downstairs and the young woman upstairs when the fire broke out. One of them had smelled smoke and called the fire service.
Alan Roberts, Operations Development Manager, said: “The fact that the alarms in this property had been disconnected is extremely frightening.
“It demonstrates again that working smoke alarms are essential in every home.
“Had both occupants been asleep we could so easily have been dealing with the tragedy of two lives lost to fire and the development of the fire to adjacent properties.”

Well done to Scouse and his colleague. Another Royal Welchman, Bob Powell did something very similar a few years ago. Hopefully their actions will be properly recognised.

I had to laugh at the next door neighbours comment “We sat in the car outside for about an hour and a half before we could go back in - it was freezing.” Typical civvy, never mind that their house and everything they hold dear nearly went up in smoke!!!!
