it is with a very heavy heart that i have to announce that john owen {sexy} passed away at 4.20 on the 5/07/2010 after fighting cancer for so long he went in his sleep. thank you for the help to ernie don wally gerry dutch god bless. he never died he only faded away.

Very sad,

I have been communicating with Simon ever since he placed a post on the Comrades Association thread, under 'Help', regarding Sexy's ill health, indeed, I was arranging a visit this coming Wed but his passing has taken everyone by surprise as no one realised that the end was so near. I did serve with Sexy in A Coy from June 1963 to May 1967.

Having spoken to Simon this evening, Funeral details for this coming Friday 13th August are as follows:

1115hrs: Leave the house in Tonyrefail.

1200hrs: Service at Coity Crematorium, Bridgend.

Afterwards, depart Coity for home: 136 Caer Gwerlas, Tonyrefail, CF39 8HT - ALL ARE WELCOME!

Have alo been in touch with Jungle 1810, Secretary of The Bridgend Branch, who, even with such short notice, will attempt to assist where he can regarding his members etc.

In the meantime, however, sincere condolences to family and friends from my wife and I and all members of the London Branch RWFCA.
