A strange subject for our site, but massive money savings to be had, during these financially testing times.
I normally pay £120 for 3 months supply of Accuve Moist Daily. This is a rip off, the lens is a precision engineered piece of plastic, which is mass-produced and cheap as chips to make.
I have found an alternative which is British made and engineered. They are made by the UK inventor of the daily disposable(Ron Hamilton). They cost £9.98 for 1 months supply, just under £30 for 3 months(includes delivery). That is a massive saving. They feel a lot lighter than the Accuvue's, which is good. Other than that, they offer me the same vision benefits. Once I ordered online, they arrived 48hrs later. You tell the site what lens you currently wear, they then offer you their own brand alternative. I'm now using Daysoft 58
The Company is called Daysoft. Their website is www.daysoft.com
Have a look at the site, definitely worth spending a tenner, just to see what they are like, potentially saving yourself £30 a month!!!!
Just a reminder that opticians will sell you all the major brands, because they have tie-ins and major profit mark ups.
