Peter,
I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the Home Page or the Forum? What happens when you click on the Home Page button?

Bri I had the same problem, I re-registered with my user name and password and all seems ok now.

There is no need to start re-registering. This was a forums permissions problem that has now been fixed.
Bob i'm also having problems opening the Mark Shields thread. I keep getting the following message:
safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.rwf-forum.co.uk/vBulletin/showwiki.php?title=Header:Welcome-mark-shields”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

Al, that's because he appears to have posted that in The Vault and not the proper forum. I have now moved that and will review the Vault (Vault Wiki) settings

I'm totally confused now with the way we are to log on to the The Royal Welch Forum, to log on now I type in the forum website address, I get to rwf front page having type my log in details what has happened to the very nice design that the forum had in regimental colours frank dolan phil bane and mike cornish at the top f the page all i'm getting now is a bland blue forum page has the forum design been changed or lost due to this virus? Pleas bring back some colour back into my life.
Best Regards

I've got to be honest, I'm getting really fed up with these negative comments about the current Forum skin! I've been working non-stop for the last few weeks to sort out the problems we have had and I don't feel I'm getting the support I deserve!
If you had been reading all my previous posts on this subject you would know that the malicious script (virus) that infiltrated the forum meant we had to install version 4.0.3 of vBulletin. As a result of this, the previous Royal Welch skin won't work with this version of vBulletin; what you are seeing is the default skin and not a bespoke one.
We will need to completely re-code the previous design for it to work with the functionality of vBulletin version 4.0.3. Initial pricing would run to around $300 for a stock 4.0 layout of things (matching our previous design).
Before that happens, however, we need to resolve several other problems that have arisen due to the upgrade and malicious script.

Well, I for one am pleased to see the forum back on line again. Never mind about the skin. Thanks for a great job, Bob!

Ditto Baconwallah....The virus attack on the forum has been extremely serious.....catastrophic. Many sites would normally just close down and try and open sometime in the unforeseeable future. The RWF Forum skin
was the result of 5 yrs work and continual improvements by Bob, all that has now to be cleaned and rebuilt along with everything else within the site!!!!!! This current skin is pretty much how we looked when we started.
Its functional and does the job. Bob should not feel under pressure to complete anything, thats unfair. Let's just be glad the site is still running. Its the members contributions that make the site what it is, not the skins.

Sometimes, even now, the ingrattitude of some people truly astounds me! Well done Bob and thank you very much for getting us back on line.
I reserved judgement for a few days, but like the new look, good job Bob. It's a work in progress, improving all the time.
Give it a chance everyone, change is good.

Bob,
Knowing Benny Ball's limited knowledge of IT, I can safely say he will have meant no offence to you or any others who work hard behind the scene to keep the sight up and running despite all the issues you have had.
Cheers Bob, for all your efforts.
