Hi Guys, got given an RWF mug for Xmas with a pic of the cap badge on it, blue/maroon background but above the cap bage is the wording ' Ner aspera terrent' , never seen this before. Has anyone any idea what it means ?

Nec Aspera Terrant means "Difficulties do not Daunt" and I believe it was the motto for C Company but the years may may have clouded the memory. Other Grenadiers regiments use it with a slight deviation to the meaning. eg "By Difficulties undaunted".
