The annual two day golf will take place on Sunday & Monday 14th & 15th of October at the Belmont lodge and Golf club Hereford. There is 16 places available on a first come basis.

My Name is Lewis Vaughan-Jones, I'm a reporter with ITN News. In the run up to the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, we are doing a series of reports on how the country has changed over the past 60 years.
For the first of our reports, we would like to interview an ex-soldier who was born in 1952, the year that the Queen acceded to the throne.
We are also looking for someone who has a son/daughter who served/is serving in the Regt.
The idea is to interview them both together - comparing their experiences and memories.
We would like to film the interviews in the next week. It would be pre-recorded and air on ITV National News in the run up to the Jubilee.

I have received a text from Lofty-23 (Forum Administrator) informing me that he was admitted to Hospital in Bath on Sun 13th May as the result of coughing up blood.

They have carried out a bronchoscopy and identified a lump/tumour on the lung. He is also awaiting the results of a CT Scan, hopefully by this afternoon.

That's all I know so far other than he anticipates being kept in until at least mid next week.

He is going to text me tomorrow (Friday) evening.

Liverpool have parted company with manager Kenny Dalglish.

The Scot's future had been in doubt in recent days, with the Reds passing no comment that he had left his position following talks with the club's owners in Boston this week.

Dalglish returned to England to further speculation about his future and the club have confirmed he has left the club.

A statement from Liverpool read: "Fenway Sports Group (FSG) and Liverpool Football Club announced that Kenny Dalglish is to leave his post today as Manager after having his contract terminated.
